ZMM “STOMANA” AD is a company with extensive experience and lasting traditions in the machine building branch of the industry. Found in Silistra in 1945, until 1991 this was one of the biggest manufacturers of metal processing machines and equipment for the founding industry in Bulgaria.
In view of the demand for furthering the efficiency of the business management in a rapidly changing and very competitive environment, the company has reoriented its production activity towards the development and production of wood-processing machines.
A major feature of the enterprise is its ability to effectively realize short term and high quality design and manufacture projects all due to the professionalism and potential of the personnel as well as the good production and technological facilities.
During the last several years ZMM “STOMANA” AD has been able to develop a wide range of wood processing machines like the series of single, twin and multi-operational machines, planers, thickness planers, drillers, circular saws, milling machines, belt saws, lathes and belt-grinders, edge banding machines, air aspirators etc.
Our products have a CE Certificate which opens a road to the markets of the World.
The NIKMANN MASCHINEN trade mark, under which they are distributed, gradually acquires a wider popularity in Bulgaria and on a number of foreign markets.
Over 90% of the production of the company is exported abroad. Major partners of ZMM “STOMANA” AD are the American “LAGUNA TOOLS”, a leader in the sale of wood processing machines in the USA, Canada and Mexico and the Austrian PWA, which operates on the markets of Austria and Germany.
The company has enjoyed long term commercial relations with merchants from Spain, Holland, France, Belgium, Norway, Hungary, Romania, Macedonia, Greece, Russia, the Ukraine, Sri Lanka, Malta, SAR, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Israel, Latvia and many others.
The manufacture of our machines includes elements, delivered by leading World companies like Klinger & Born, Fried, Kleinberg, Hueck, Barke, Saelzer, Tripus; the French Crouzet and Mori; Consegni Pierino from Italy , Co-matic of Taiwan, etc.
After its privatization in 1999, the production strategy of the company has included an ongoing implementation of modern technologies for the development of new products in view of the task to orient our products in a direction, in which they will better fit the conditions of contemporary market demands and towards a greater presence on new markets. We possess a high-tech laser, which is manufactured by the renown TRUMF company, an abkant machine from the HACO company and have integrated a production line for powder painting.
At the International Technical Fair “Plovdiv 2003`” our twin-operation wood processing miller-circular saw SF 3000L won a Gold medal and a special Diploma, while in 2005, the same fair awarded a gold medal to the copier-lathe model CL 1201, in 2006 woodcutting shape T 1002 manufactured by ZMM “STOMANA” AD.
